Classical Trace Anomaly

We seek the analogy of the mathematical form of the alternative form of Einstein's field equations for Lovelock's field equations. We find that the price for this analogy is to accept the existence of the trace anomaly of the energy-momentum tensor even in classical treatments.

Field Theory reformulated without self - energy parts . Classical electrodynamics

A manifestly gauge-invariant hamiltonian formulation [1] of classical electrodynamics has been shown to be relativistic invariant by the construction of the generators of the Poincare Lie algebra. The original formulation in terms of reduced distribution functions for the particles is applied here to the case of two charges interacting through the classical electrodynamical field. A reduced des...

Energy anomaly and polarizability of carbon nanotubes.

The energy of Fermi sea perturbed by an external potential is analyzed with the help of an energy anomaly. Using an example of massive Dirac fermions on a circle, we illustrate how the anomaly accounts for the contribution of the deep-lying states. The energy anomaly is a universal function of the applied field and is related to known field-theoretic anomalies. Applied to the transverse polariz...

separation of the gravity anomaly using discrete wavelet analysis and comparing to other classical methods

geophysical data are always affected by different sources of anomaly. these sources are classified in to three groups: first group is relatively deep sources commonly called as regional effects, second group is near surface sources or local effects and third group is high frequency noises. the only common way to separate the anomaly is separation with respect to the signal frequency. there are ...
